How I Made an Extra $2,800 Selling Simple Kids Worksheets Online

After hitting $5,000 with coloring books, I knew one thing—I was onto something real.
But instead of just pumping out more coloring books, I started thinking long-term.
“What else are parents, teachers, and homeschoolers constantly searching for?”

And the answer came quick: Kids Activity Worksheets.

Why Worksheets? Here's What Clicked for Me

I realized parents don’t just want entertainment—they want educational fun for their kids.
So I started researching what sells on Etsy, KDP, and even on Pinterest.
And I found that printable activity packs were blowing up.

Here’s why worksheets made perfect sense:

• ✅ Super easy to make in Canva

• ✅ Tons of demand from homeschooling moms and preschool teachers

• ✅ Reusable, printable, and low competition in niche areas

• ✅ No shipping or handling—just instant downloads

Creating My First Packs

I didn’t go overboard. I started with basics like:

• Alphabet tracing sheets

• Simple math puzzles

• Spot the difference

• Matching games for shapes and colors

• Cut-and-paste crafts for toddlers

And just like I did before, I leaned into Canva and PLR packs to save time.
Some of those PLR activity sheets were editable, so I tweaked the designs and added custom themes.

Selling Beyond KDP This Time

With coloring books, I mostly stuck to Amazon KDP. But worksheets opened up more doors.
I launched mini stores on:

• 📌 Gumroad

• 📌 Teachers Pay Teachers

Each platform brought its own crowd. Etsy was amazing during holidays, especially for themed packs.
Gumroad worked great when I bundled 100+ pages as a full workbook deal.

What Took My Sales to the Next Level

I treated this like a real business. I created a simple brand name, added cute thumbnails,
and made sure every product had:

• A clear title

• Fun preview images

• Short, benefit-driven descriptions

• And yes, SEO-optimized tags (nothing spammy—just real words parents search)

I also got smarter with niches again. Some of my best-selling packs included:

• Dinosaur-themed alphabet tracing

• Weather-themed activity packs for kindergarten

• Holiday bundles (Easter, Halloween, Christmas)

• Fine motor skills worksheets for preschoolers

Passive Income While I Slept

There’s nothing better than waking up to “You made a sale!” emails.
And this time, it was happening daily across multiple platforms.
Some days I made $50, some days $100. But it added up—fast.

Before I knew it, my total earnings hit $7,800.

What I Learned From This Part of the Journey

Adding new digital products was like adding more doors for income to walk through.
Coloring books gave me confidence—but kids’ worksheets gave me freedom to scale wider.

What worked again:
